Doing a bit better!

Hello :)

So I'm really sorry I haven't updated much. I've been very depressed and trying to cope with that. But I am feeling so much better and am a lot less emotional! 

Something that has probably helped with that is that I'm hopefully getting a dog soon!

I've been wanting one for a while now but have just not had any luck :C Casper told me the other night though that he will help me getting stuff which was so very sweet of him ♥

There was a dog named Walter that I absolutely adored, but, he was adopted! Which is wonderful, but I was still a little bummed. I know that the perfect dog buddy is out there waiting for me and I know that this will be just what I need in life. I get so lonely and being the restless person I am, it would be nice to be able to go on walks and have someone to cuddle with when casper isn't here. I really would love a bigger dog thats goofy and super cuddly. I really am fond of Pit Bulls and would love one, but the laws for them in the area are very strict due to past dog attacks. I live in bellevue and in omaha, Pit Bulls HAVE to have a muzzle on whenever you leave the house with them. It's so sad because it's not the dogs' fault at all. Its the damned price they just have to pay for irresponsible dog owners. And that saddens me so much. :c

I really need to start taking more pictures to post on here so it's not all text heavy! Oh! I know, I will show you my inspiration for one of the tattoos I'd like to get!

Kawaii ears of corn! :p

I wanted to get a tattoo as a dedication to my home of nebraska, so why not an ear of corn? I want it to be super cute though because that's just me :)

Man, one of my gums hurts so bad! I went to give Casper a kiss on the forehead the other night and somehow it turned into him headbutting me?? It was a complete accident and pretty funny but I cut one of my gums. I though it wouldn't do anything besides just bleed a little but nope! It's so very sore to the touch and really uncomfortable! I just hope it's healed up by wenesday because that's when my ortho appointment is :/

Feeling a bit down...

Nothing special happened today.

Slept a majority of the day, woke up and watched funny people.

That's all.

I'm kinda depressed so even though I could probably think of things to write about, I just can't muster up the energy to.

Bleh. I am so so tired STILL. :C

I hate taking naps because then I will only be wired later and just feeling shitty again tomorrow.

Maybe I will take one anyways? Hrmmm....

SO!

Last night, my boyfriend of two and a half years, Casper took me to see X-Men First Class.

MY CREYS, THEY WOULDNT STOP ;A;

I am so happy with the movie, although, some things were different from the comics apparently. Casper has been an avid fan for years and actually has about two boxes worth of X-Men comics. But he was still very impressed with the movie :) I feel out of place a bit though because I've only seen the first X-Men movie :/ I do believe Casper and I will be watching the three sometime soon though.

Other than that, nothing much happened yesterday. I was very sore and completely tired. And layed in bed all night until Casper showed up. I tried to pink myself out, aha. I layered some baby pink torn tights over some magenta ones, wore a really neat thrifted pink skirt, a pink/floral flannel top, with a black knitted sweater over that. I knew it would be cold in the theater so thats why I layered so much. I wish I had taken a full body shot, but I only got a shot of my tights.

Well, I think I'm going to try and muster up the energy to paint my nails. You all know the little green Droid guy from the Droid company? I think I'm going to paint him on my nails :3 If not today, then tomorrow for sure :) And of course I will post some pictures. Maybe even do a tutorial? Hmmm...

Also, I want to mention that there has been severe flooding here. Our metro area is being affected by the Missouri river and it's flooding. It's actually flooding into the streets in the downtown area, which is saying a lot. It's just...a really sad thing thats happening to our community. I really want to go down there to see it all first hand.

okay. this bridge is the pedsetrian bridge. you can walk across it starting either in omaha or in council bluffs. its really cool because you can literally walk from state to state. well, this thing is extremely tall and for the water to be THAT close to it?? Thats bad.

I guess some people are saying that the worst hasn't even happened yet?? Gosh I hope that's not true...

Well I suppose I should tell you all who I am?
My name is Mariah and I enjoy the internet :)

I've heard many good things about this website and finally, decided to try it out.
I'd like to make this blog into something enjoyable not only for myself, but, for all you out there as well!
I've always wanted to post more about my day to day life so I do believe that will be that main focus of this.
